When Chris Gorman and her husband, Ken arrive at a 10-year anniversary
party for the Deputy Mayor of New York, they find things are a little
askew. The host of the party is injured, his wife is missing and the
servants are nowhere to be found. Hardly an affair Chris and Ken are used
to attending. As guests arrive to the party the tale of what has occurred
gets a little out of hand.

Lenny Ganz Charley's accountant. Irascible, sarcastic and in pain from
a car accident. Claims to hate gossip, especially the gossip he delivers.
Claire Ganz Lenny's wife. Tart, sharp and deadly; a good match for
Lenny. Dearly loves gossip and makes no bones about it.
Ken Gorman Charley's lawyer. Could be a nice enough guy if he wasn't
trying so hard to cover up an attempted suicide.
Chris Gorman A publishing industry lawyer. Normally a capable woman, currently in a frenzy. She picked the wrong week to give up
smoking.
Ernie Cusack A psychotherapist. Friendly, firmly grounded and
occasionally smug. Comes up with alibis that can only be described as
"insane”
Cookie Cusack Cooking show hostess. Cookie's oven is not operating on
all pilots. Slightly daffy and easily flustered.
Glenn Cooper Running for the state senate. A Robert Redford wannabe.
Handsome, polished politician who flees like a thief at the first sign of
trouble.
Cassie Cooper Trophy wife. Insecure, sexy, shrewish. Firm believer in
the power of crystals. Very high maintenance.
Officer Ben Welch Straight talking, no-nonsense police officer.
Officer Pudney
